Learning

Outline

Enterprise Scholars is designed for 12–14-year-olds who are curious about how ideas become businesses and what makes them thrive. Students will explore concepts such as branding, trading, supply chains, and product development before collaborating to create and pitch their own business ideas. Along the way, they’ll build confidence, creativity, and communication skills while learning how curiosity and teamwork drive innovation. We don’t follow a fixed curriculum — our tutors shape each course around the group’s interests and ideas, making every learning journey dynamic, engaging, and relevant. Each day also includes reflection time to help students absorb what they’ve discovered.

Teaching methodology

Our teaching for 12–14-year-old students is interactive and task-based. You’ll be taught by experienced tutors who are passionate about sparking curiosity and bringing enterprise to life. Over the course of the week, you’ll learn through multimedia presentations, group challenges, and creative projects that connect theory to real-world examples. With no fixed curriculum, you’re encouraged to share your specific interests when you apply, and our tutors will tailor the course content to reflect those passions wherever possible.

The Atlas Summer Courses Experience

Enterprise Scholars is where bold ideas meet real-world thinking. Students explore how businesses grow, how leaders make decisions, and how innovation happens — through debate, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. They’re encouraged to think independently, express their opinions, and explore what excites them about enterprise — building confidence not just in the subject, but in themselves.

Each weekday includes two extended morning lessons in small, discussion-led groups where students take on more advanced challenges such as brand strategy, product design, entrepreneurship roles and ethical business decisions. Afternoons include guided project work, supervised study time, and subject-related excursions that help them connect ideas to real organisations and industries. Evenings bring structured social activities, reflection time, and full supervision from our safeguarding-trained staff. It’s an inspiring and dynamic programme designed to develop communication, leadership and critical thinking — the core skills that will support future academic success.
