24 hours of small-group seminars
You'll take part in eight seminars where you'll explore Computer Science through interactive discussions, problems, challenges and activities. You'll be encouraged to develop solutions, test different approaches and explain the reasoning behind your decisions.
12 hours of private study
You'll complete a small amount of work for each seminar. Depending on the course, this might involve solving computational problems, reading about a concept, researching a technology or developing a piece of work to share with your group. There will be opportunities to work independently as well as collaboratively with your peers.
Across the course, you'll be encouraged to participate actively, experiment with different approaches and become more confident applying logical and computational thinking to unfamiliar problems.
