Combining inspiring surroundings with expert teaching and dedicated pastoral support, the programme encourages academic achievement, personal growth, and independent thinking. Students benefit from an outstanding learning environment where historic tradition meets modern facilities, creating a summer experience that builds confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.
For students aged 13 and above, Atlas Summer Courses offers the opportunity to live and learn in carefully selected Oxford and Cambridge colleges whose facilities we hire during the summer. These inspiring academic settings provide the ideal environment for focused study, intellectual exploration, and personal growth. Alongside academically challenging programmes, students enjoy a varied schedule of guided tours, cultural experiences, and social activities that enrich their learning, broaden their perspectives, and create a memorable summer in two of the world's most celebrated university cities.
Students stay in carefully selected accommodation matched to their age group and programme. Junior students (ages 9–12) and Scholars (ages 12–14) are based at Harrow School, where a supportive boarding environment and dedicated pastoral care encourage both academic success and personal wellbeing. Students aged 13–24 live and learn at Oxford and Cambridge colleges whose facilities we hire during the summer, enjoying inspiring academic settings that support independent study, intellectual curiosity, and an immersive summer school experience.
Meals are carefully planned to support students throughout their summer experience, with arrangements tailored to each programme and age group. Junior students (ages 9–12) and Scholars (ages 12–14) at Harrow School, together with students aged 13–15 in Oxford and Cambridge, enjoy full-board accommodation with breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided. Students aged 16–24 receive breakfast and dinner each day, with a wide range of lunch options available close to their accommodation and teaching venues, offering flexibility alongside their academic schedule.
