Who Can Attend?
Our summer programme at Atlas Summer Courses is designed for students aged 13–24, catering to a wide range of academic interests and career goals. Whether you are interested in exploring new subjects or deepening your understanding of a particular field, our expert tutors provide a personalised and enriching learning experience. Students are divided into three age groups to ensure the programme meets their developmental needs. For Advanced Courses, applicants must be aged 18–24 and have completed at least two years of undergraduate study (or equivalent) by the course start date.

Staying in the City of Cambridge offers a wide range of experiences. Guided city tours and orientations led by our dedicated staff help students settle in, while daily activities and excursions provide fun, learning, and the chance to explore local culture. Group projects, free time with peers, and evening events like Bop and formal dinners foster connection and confidence in a unique and supportive setting.
The experience is enriched with a variety of engaging activities designed to support both academic and personal growth. Students enjoy full-day excursions and free time to explore Cambridge independently or with new friends. Evenings are filled with socials and cultural outings, while structured sessions encourage discussion and collaboration. Formal dinners add a memorable touch to the well-rounded summer school journey.
Students benefit from a mature and independent summer experience that balances academic depth with social engagement. Activities include evening socials, college visits, and industry insight talks that inspire ambition and networking. With built-in free time, students are encouraged to explore Cambridge and connect with peers. The experience concludes with formal dinners and a graduation ceremony to celebrate their journey.
Students can choose between residential and non-residential options, depending on their programme and package. Residential students are allocated accommodation based on their age group, package selected, and availability, with room types ranging from shared to single occupancy and shared or private bathroom facilities where applicable.
Ages 13-15: Full-board accommodation with breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided. Ages 16-17 and 18-24: Half-board accommodation with breakfast and dinner. Lunch is not included, but staff will provide recommendations for local restaurants.
