Throughout the programme, you'll take part in three three-hour seminar-style lessons each week, where expert tutors lead engaging discussions, encourage independent thinking, and challenge you to explore new ideas and perspectives. You'll also benefit from a weekly tutorial with 1–3 students per tutor, providing personalised feedback and the opportunity to deepen your subject knowledge, refine your academic thinking, and develop greater confidence in your abilities.
Weekly masterclasses focus on transferable skills such as communication, leadership, and critical thinking, while guided independent study encourages research, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity. Oxford Travel and Support
We provide complimentary transfers for students arriving at London Heathrow Airport on the course start date (Sunday) between 8:00 am and 3:45 pm. A member of the Atlas Summer Courses team will meet you at the arrivals hall and guide you to your transfer, which departs every hour from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. On departure day, we offer a complimentary transfer back to Heathrow for flights departing between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, aiming to get you to the airport at least three hours before your flight.
If you are travelling as an unaccompanied minor, you will be collected by our team after being escorted through the airport by airline staff. For departures, we provide a paid unaccompanied minor service where students will be accompanied to the airport and handed over to the airline’s staff for check-in. Full travel details will be provided in your Travel Form before your course begins.


Visa Information
Whether you need permission to travel to the UK depends on your nationality. Some visitors will need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA), while others will need to apply for a Standard Visitor visa, which covers short courses such as ours. If you are under 18 and require a visa, you will also need written consent from a parent or guardian. We recommend checking the latest requirements using the official UK Government visa checker before applying.
Once your course fees have been paid in full, Atlas Summer Courses will provide a Visa Support Letter confirming your enrolment and accommodation details to support your application where required. If you have any questions about visas, ETAs, or the application process, our Admissions Team will be happy to help.
