How Learning Happens at Harrow

At Atlas Summer Courses, we believe the most meaningful learning happens through curiosity rather than a fixed curriculum. Every course is shaped by the interests, questions, and ideas of its students, creating a personalised academic experience that encourages independent thinking and intellectual confidence. With small class sizes of no more than 15 students, expert tutors lead interactive lessons that combine discussion, practical activities, collaborative projects, and hands-on challenges, ensuring every student is actively engaged.

Students are encouraged to ask questions, share different perspectives, and develop critical thinking and communication skills in a supportive learning environment. Each day concludes with dedicated reflection time, helping students connect their learning to the wider world, deepen their understanding, and consider how their experiences can support their future academic goals and personal ambitions.

What to Expect from the Scholars Programme

The Scholars Programme balances academic challenge with creativity, friendship, and personal growth.

  • Reflect daily through guided activities designed to deepen learning
  • Join interactive workshops in communication, creativity, and teamwork
  • Enjoy a full social programme — from sports and arts to evening events
  • Celebrate their progress at a formal graduation ceremony
